I’m happy to resolve the error code 404. This error can be caused when a firewall blocks Internet access needed for the QuickBooks programs or files. I recommend, making sure your Firewall and Internet security settings are updated. You may contact your firewall and anti-virus software support.
You may also run the QuickBooks File Doctor which allows to automatically open the firewall ports.
