How can I restore a refund receipt that was deleted by mistake?

I've got the details you need about restoring a deleted refund receipt, @yulicejas.

The option to restore the transaction isn't available in the program. I'd suggest re-creating the refund receipt using the details from the Audit Log. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to the Settings (Gear) icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Audit Log under Tools
  3. Click the Filter drop-down.
  4. Select the appropriate User.
  5. Set the date range.
  6. Under Events, choose Show only these events and check the Transactions box.
  7. In the Show drop-down, select the Deleted/Voided Transactions.
  8. Click Apply.

The screenshot below shows you the last six steps. For detailed instructions, go through this article: Use the Audit Log To Re-enter Deleted Transactions

Once done, locate the deleted transaction. Then, click View from the Action column as seen in the screenshot below. From there, you'll be able to re-create the refund receipt

Additionally, you can run the Transaction List by Customer report. This lets you view all your transactions per customer within a specific period, such as your refund receipt. Just go to Reports from the left menu. Then, enter the report name in the Search box.

You can click the Reply button below if you need anything else. I'll be around to help, @yulicejas.
