How do I back up my data to a flash/thumb drive?

With my old QuickBooks Mac 2010 I was able to insert a flash drive to backup my data. I'm now using QuickBooks Mac desktop 2016 and can't figure out how to back up my data. Is there a way to do it?

Try this article from little square: http://www.qblittlesquare.com/2015/01/backing-up-your-company-file-in-quickbooks-for-mac-2015/

They are a great source of help for the mac program.

That's a good answer. One thing about thumb drives is they often come formatted as MS-DOS file system.  Its a good idea to reformat them as HFS+ if that is the case.  You can do that with Apple's Disk Utility program.

I want to download my quickbooks desktop to a flash drive. Do I need a special format?
