The Home Page works and ties directly into double-entry bookkeeping. The Dash Board does not work at all - at least for me. But I think from an accounting and bookkeeping perspective it is distinctly inferior to Home Page. Please cancel my online subscription. Thank you.

The Dashboard page is dependent on the data you entered QuickBooks Online (this includes duplicate transactions). I'd appreciate if you can send your feedback to our Product Development Team. You can click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Feedback.
Meanwhile, you can cancel your subscription through QuickBooks Online manually. Here's how to do it:

I know there is no home page to go to backup, so where can I go to do that?

With QuickBooks Online, once you've saved the data, you don't have to back it up since the system will do it automatically. If you're unable to save the information, I'd suggest giving it a try once the internet connection is stable.
