How do I clear the receipt printer buffer of over 1500 pages without printing?

Hello there, mp-2202.

Let me help you clear the print queue.

Please note that you'll need to be logged in as an Administrator to do this.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Start, and select Control Panel.
  2. Click Administrative tools.
  3. Click on the Services icon.
  4. Right click on the Print Spooler.
  5. Select Stop.

If you're doing this on a server, it is a good idea to make sure there are no print jobs being processed by any of the printers on the server because this step will delete those jobs as well.

Once done, you can go back and right click Services console, and choose Start for the Print Spooler service.

If you prefer to use a script like for a server, then you can create a batch file. All you have to do is run the batch file anytime you want to clear out the print queue.

You can also check other steps from the Microsoft Community.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I am always here to help you.
