I can show you how you can align preprinted checks.
To set up the alignment before printing preprinted checks, you'll need to go to the Payroll Settings to adjust it. You can follow the detailed steps found in this article:

For best results, use checks specifically designed for QuickBooks Online. You can get them through this link:
From the left menu, select Expenses. Choose Print Checks.
At the bottom of the page, select Print setup.
Select the type of checks you have: voucher or standard. ...Load blank paper into your printer. ..
Select View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.
Is there a "best" printer to use. My alignment doesnt seem to help much and wonder if my printer is the problem . I have a Brother MFC7840W
Currently, we can't recommend a specific printer that you can use. You'll want to adjust the alignment under the printer setup page to successfully print your checks.
