How do I setup new printer to my 2017 Quickbooks? It does not automatically populate in print menu!

Let's first set up your new printer as the Windows default printer. Allow me to guide you through the steps. 

  1. Select Settings or Control Panel from the Start button. 
  2. Choose Printers and Faxes.
  3. Right-click the printer that you want to use as a default from the Printers and Faxes dialog window. 
  4. Click Set as Default Printer
  5. Close the Windows Printer and Faxes window.

 

Once done, you can open the program and select the new printer in the Printer Setup window. Here's how: 

  1. Go to the File menu at the top.
  2. Select Printer Setup.PrinterSetup1.PNG
  3. Go to the Settings tab. 
  4. In the Printer name field, choose the new printer. 
  5. Click OK.PrinterSetup2.PNG
