How do you get in touch with a real person that can answer questions with quickbooks? I've done the call back twice with in an hour & still no call back.

You can arrange a callback to talk to our support, @KALLUIL.

 

We're doing this to make sure that you’ll be routed directly to the correct product specialist while working on your account.

 

You can do it by going to the Help icon at the top right of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent. 
  2. Click on the Contact Us button and provide some details about this concern.
  3. After adding some insight, click on the Let's talk button. 
  4. Lastly, select the Get a callback button to arrange a call from them.

The 'lets talk' option has been removed.  I cant believe a business that helps thousands of other businesses run has no way to contact a person on the phone.  This is unbelievable.  Add that to the fact that the chat never seems to connect me to anyone and I have no idea what to do.  Now i get to re-learn an entire new system from some probably equally terrible competitor to quickbooks.  Yay for me.

I'm also a software user like you, and I expect solid support whenever I need it. In your case, we want to take this opportunity to improve our services (which includes your experience from our chat support) moving forward. 

 

We'd like to make it up here. Can you tell us more about your issue? We might be able to resolve it in the Community forums. 

 

Though if you still need to talk to our agents, we can run a few steps to resolve the missing "Let's talk" option. 

 

We haven't removed the Let's talk option. Though, we do have a recent update where we incorporate QB Assistant with the Help icon. You can reach our support by clicking on the Talk to a human option, then typing the details of your issue. The Contact us link will appear and you'll be redirected to our contact options.

Not all users have this update yet however. In case you're still on the old Help menu, then a cache issue might be the reason why the option is missing.

 

To see if this is the case, we can use an incognito or private window:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Pull up the Help menu from there again, then check to see if the Let's talk option appears. Then, you can start contacting our support. After your call, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Close and reopen it afterwards. 

 

Alternatively, you can use another supported browser.
