Let me know if you need additional guidance when working in the online version. We're always here to offer our help.
Prior to proceed to migrate, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular price.
Thanks for sending. I followed the steps but the restored file, nor the original file recognize the username/password we've been using to login, when trying to open in the 2020 desktop version. Any suggestions? thanks!

In this case, I recommend resetting your login credentials using the Automated password tool for QuickBooks Desktop. You may access your QuickBooks Desktop 2015 file and modify the credentials from there. I'm also adding here an article that contain video tutorials on how you can navigate QBO together with its great features: Video tutorials for QuickBooks Online.
I'll be around to lend a helping hand if there's anything else you need. Keep safe, atabak.
