How to remove a bank transactions linked in error?

I'd be delighted to help you remove a bank account and linked it to the correct QuickBooks Online company.

You can follow the step-by-step process below to remove a bank account that was linked to the wrong QuickBooks Online company.

Here's how:

1. From the left menu, select Banking then Banking.
2. Select the Edit (pencil) icon on the account you want to change, then select Edit account info.
3. In the Account window, select Disconnect this account on save.
4. Select Save and close.
   
   

If your transactions are already added in QuickBooks, you can exclude and delete them. However, if they are not yet added in QuickBooks, they will be removed automatically once the account is disconnected.

Here's how:

1. In the left navigation menu, click Banking.
2. Under the For Review tab, select the transactions you want to delete.
3. Click the Batch actions button and select Exclude Selected.
4. Go to the Excluded tab.
5. Select the transactions.
6. Click the Batch actions button and select Delete.
