Join nowI downloaded the download manager for Desktop Premier 2019. Then ran it on Windows server 2012-R2 machine. Now I am getting "Download Manager - Error" Dialog box when I try to install Desktop Premier 2019. Any ideas how to resolve this issue. There is Desktop Premier 2017 on the server. I checked the firewall activity and don't see anything blocked.

Making sure that your firewall isn't blocking anything is a good solution to start with, softuser.
This error is usually caused by incomplete download files, installation errors, or damaged files in the QuickBooks download folder. Before we start troubleshooting this, please ensure that you've met the QuickBooks Desktop system requirements. This is to ensure that your computer, network, and operating system are compatible with QuickBooks Premier 2019 to avoid errors like this.
If the given requirements are met, let's proceed with running the QuickBooks Installation Diagnostic tool. This is designed to fix the issues related to the .NET Framework, MSXML, and C++.
Once done, restart your computer, run the Download Manager again, and reinstall QuickBooks. If the same thing happens, go back to the Diagnostic Tool article above and proceed with the remaining solutions (Solution 2 to Solution 4).
Please get back to me with the results. I'll help you more if you're still getting the same error.

Thank you for the detailed instructions and sorry for the late reply.
Prior to reboot the Task Manager was reporting high memory usage for no apparent reason. After the reboot, the Task Manager showed low memory usage and consequently I was able to run Download Manager successfully and install quickbooks 2019 correctly.
Thanks!
