I'd be glad to help point you in the right direction so you're able to add a new user to your account. As an initial troubleshooting step, I recommend clearing the cache in your internet browser. Clearing the cache will allow you to work with a clean slate and resolve any performance and viewing errors that may be happening in QuickBooks Online. I've cleared cache and histories and I'm still getting this error.  Please help

I'm getting same error I cleared cashe, and used incognito, so luck..

Aside from clearing the cache, you can also use a different browser to narrow the cause of this behavior.

 

If you're still encountering the same issue, I suggest reaching out to our customer care support so an agent can take a better look at this. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Talk to a human.
  3. Enter "Getting error message when adding a new user" in the Type something field.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact us.
  6. Choose either Messaging or Callback

Once it's fixed, you can easily add a new user. You can also check this reference for more information: Add, delete, or change user access.
