We've some updates when updating our W-9 information, jlh503.
We can go to our Tax Profile and update the tax information and once we save it we can go to the W-9 information tab to see the changes and if information are already showing. I'll show you how:

This didn't work for me. I updated information in the Tax Profile. Then clicked Save. That sidebar closed. I went back to the Gear > Tax Profile and Clicked on the W-9 tab. I still see the year 2018 and a blank window with a button at the bottom to Sign and Save. I tried clicking that Sign and Save button. Nothing happened.
We can start by accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. A typical browser uses a cache of memory to work efficiently and load pages faster. However, as data collects it can also cause unexpected results.
You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:
If you're able to click on the Save button to update your W-9 information, then I suggest going back to your regular browser and clear its cache.
Otherwise, you can switch to another browser if the same thing happens.

Thank you for your reply. I logged into QBSE in an incognito window. I had the same problem. When I click on Gear > Tax Profile, I am on the Tax Profile tab. Above it says Tax Settings 2020 with a drop down menu to change the year. All this information is correct. I updated it recently following advice here. To the right of the Tax Profile tab is a tab for Projections. To the left of the Tax Profile tab is a tab that says W-9 information.
When I click on the W-9 tab, the top says Tax Settings 2018. There is no drop down menu to change the year. Everything else is just blank white space, except the very bottom, which says "By clicking Save you agree to use this information to update W-9 shared with clients," and there is a green button that says Sign & save. I cannot view, edit, or enter andy W-9 information. When I click on button nothing happens.
