I exported my desktop QuickBooks to on line. It sent me a message saying it was successful, but not I cannot see any information. thank you

Hello blanchard.

 

It's possible that the data was not successfully imported to QuickBooks Online due to some special characters or limitations. We can do the Verify and Rebuild for your company data. This helps resolve any data problems.

 

Before doing so, let's make sure to click on this link to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. Then, create a backup copy of your company file. Check out this article for the steps: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

 

Verify your company data by following these steps:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, select Window Close All.
  2. Select File > Utilities > Verify Data.
  3. Follow the Rebuild steps if QuickBooks reports a problem.

 

To Rebuild, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Window > Close All.
  2. Select File > Utilities > Rebuild data.
  3. Once Rebuild has completed, go back and verity the data again.

 

If there are no detected issues with your company data, we can export the file again. 

  1. Go to Company Export Company File to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions.
