I have 2 computers. i purchased the QB Pro with enhanced payroll. I installed on one computer and I am able to use but can not access on my 2nd computer

I'm here to make sure you can access your file from other computers, @llkecommllc-gmai.

 

If you're using a single-user license and you're not using the file simultaneously, you can install the QuickBooks on a different PC. However, it doesn't automatically sync the data on both locations. You'll have to create a backup copy from one computer and restore it into the other PC using your portable drive.

 

However, if you'll need to access the file at the same time, I'd suggest purchasing a secondary license to enable the Multi-user mode. This way, it allows your transactions to sync automatically. Here's an article that provides an overview of setting this up: Set up a multi-user network

 

If you want to purchase another user license, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Click Help on the menu.
  2. Select Manage My License.
  3. Tap Buy Additional User License.

  4. The page that opens gives you the option to buy additional licenses online or by phone. If you choose to use the phone option, you'll be given the phone number to contact Intuit. If you choose to use the online option, a new page will open allowing you to choose the number of licenses you'd like to buy.
  5. Install QuickBooks Desktop on additional computers based on the number of licenses you purchased. Use the same license and product numbers you used to originally install QuickBooks Desktop.
  6. After installing, follow the prompts to activate QuickBooks Desktop.

Hi @llkecommllc-gmai , i think you need extra licenses for multi user access in one company. 

If you want to purchase another user license, here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. Select Manage My License, then Buy Additional User License.
  3. Select the option on how you want to purchase the new license.
