Hi there, @al5.

Allow me to give a few details about your duplicate transactions and help you correct them.

Your transactions are duplicated because the third-party app and your bank are both downloading these transactions.

Also, it’ll cause the duplication of your transactions in your Bank Register, as well as in your Profit and Loss report.

Instead of adding the downloaded transactions from the bank, you'll need to match them from the third-party application.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I’ll be here to help.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, al5.

The duplicate transactions might have been added from a bank feed before the Expensify and Gusto reports are imported in QBO. To avoid duplicate transactions moving forward, please check the expenses from Expensify and Gusto prior adding them in QuickBooks

Should you have other questions or concerns about QuickBooks, feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.

Maybe I did not explained properly:

We have the gusto.reimbursement mapped to "Ask My accountant" since the category may be different for every case.

The expenses in expensify have the category properly assigned and downloaded to QB.

When the charge in the bank is uploaded to QB I can either match it with the categories created by expensify or the ask my accountant account.

Either way I have duplicated the expenses in my profit and loss report....

Any sugestion?
