Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @debbie61

Since you've already mentioned that Enterprise 20.0 is already installed, we can prep your company file.

Below are the steps to prep your original company file:

  1. Open your original version of QuickBooks, and then open the company file you want to upgrade.
  2. Press F2 on your keyboard to open the Product Information page.
  3. Locate the File Information section.
  4. Run the Rebuild Tool for your company file. This tool preps your data for the upgrade.

Now, it's time to upgrade your company file.

Here's how:

  1. Ensure all users are logged out of the company file and open your new version.
  2. Click on Open or Restore Company if you don't have a company file open.
  3. Select Open a company file, then Next
  4. Browse your computer to locate your company file, and sign in to your file as admin.
  5. Pick Update Now to start the upgrade, and choose Done when finished.

After you've completed the steps above, you can now open your original file in your new version.

Also, for more detailed instructions with upgrading your file, you can refer back to this article as well: Upgrade your company files after switching to a new version of QuickBooks Desktop.

Let me know if the steps above do the trick. If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to comment below.
