I have tried to export the tax checklist from QB Self-Employed to my TurboTax account. Same user ID & login information. But it is not showing up at all. Help?

I have tried to export the tax checklist from QB Self-Employed to my TurboTax account. Same user ID & login information. But it is not showing up at all. Help?

There are some reasons why the tax checklist you've exported isn't showing in our TurboTax account. I'd like to share them with you and help you from there.

 

Before we start, let's first check if you see TurboTax Self-Employed or TurboTax Live Self-Employed from the left menu.

 

If you're not seeing those, you'll have to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed or TurboTax Live Self-Employed. This way, your data (tax checklist) will appear to your TurboTax account.

 

However, if you're seeing TurboTax Self-Employed or TurboTax Live Self-Employed, you'll have to make sure the data is showing in Schedule C. 

 

  • If there’s a message stating "there’s a bit more information we need to gather about your income," this is required to complete the Schedule C portion of your taxes.
  • If you don't see this message, you may need to trigger the message again. Here's how:
  1. Sign out to your TurboTax account.
  2. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account through a private browser and process the exporting again.
