Re: I keep getting an error when I update my accounts

Hi there, ted3!

I'd be delighted to work with you in resolving this.

What specific error codes or messages you received? Most bank errors can be resolved by running a manual update.

This will help refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your bank. Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.

  2. On the Banking page, choose Update.

  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and click Continue update.

If you get the same result, verify that you can connect to your bank's website. For the step-by-step instructions, refer below:

  1. Go to Banking.

  2. Choose Add Account in the Banking page.

  3. Search for your financial institution and pick from the list.
  4. Click the login URL for your bank's website posted at the top of the window
  5. Log in using your bank username and password
  6. Verify that you are able to access your account through this linked website.
  7. Confirm that you can see your account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.

Once done, update the Bank Feed again. If the error persist, check out this article and go directly to Step 3:
