I'm trying to install Quickbooks for Mac 2016 desktop on a 2017 mac book pro that is running High Sierra, do I pick the El Capitan or Yosemite OS?

Hello, My issue as well, I currently run 2015 MAC V16.1.14 R15, downloaded 2016 I cannot choose my latest saved version, help, Deb

You should be able to open the 2015 file. First run QuickBooks->Check for Updates in the 2016 version. Then choose File->Open and navigate to your 2015 company file and open it.

one more issue: thanks to your help, QB 2016 MAC is working fine, however it was a download & I never received an email with product # in it, so now I cannot register it & I'm limited to use! Help again, Deb

For that you have to either log into Intuit support or call them. I'm not sure of the tel # or log in for either - you could ask on a new thread and someone will likely respond.

Pick the El Capitan venison. Once you launch it run QuickBooks->Check for Updates and apply any updates that are available.
