Hi there, robbintonkovich,
Let me guide you through how to print and gather information reported on the Form W-3 in QuickBooks Desktop.
When you filed W-2s online with Intuit, the SSA does not require an actual W-3 to be filed. It's because their website generates one automatically based on cumulative W-2 totals. We automatically send your form to the appropriate government agency. Thus, you don't need to send a separate one.
For 2019 W-3, you can only run and print the Tax and Wage Summary report. It has the same information that you'll find on Form W-3.
To view and print the report:
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Select Employees & Payroll, then Payroll Summary.
- Make sure your date range spans an entire calendar year.
- Reference the Total column on the far right for W-3 totals.
- Choose Print.
I've added these articles to help print employee's statement in QBDT:
