Hello there, @Anonymous.

QuickBooks doesn't have the automation to change the addresses on your account. If you have other account users, they might've updated it on your behalf.

You can check the Audit Log to show all the changes made on your account. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Audit Log.

Once done, you can internally communicate with your user to not update or change your customer-facing address.

Moving forward, you can change back your customer-facing address to your preferred one. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon, choose Accounts and Settings.
  2. Select Company from the left panel.
  3. In the Address section, click on the Customer-facing address field.

Don't hesitate to mention me in your comment if you have other questions. I'll be around to provide assistance.

Hi, I need help with removing my address from the customer-facing address line. When I remove my address and click save, it won't save the change because I didn't enter an address. This is a huge problem for me because my business is online sales only, and I don't have a "business" address. The address of my business for legal purposes is my personal address, and I do NOT want customers showing up to my personal residence, as it's a massive breach of privacy and safety issue since I have children, not to mention local zoning law does not allow me to operate out of my home. Please help me. I've only been using QB for a few weeks and am a new business owner and don't understand how to do most of the things on here but this is a safety concern.

Hey there, @caffeinatedsloth.

Thanks for joining this conversation. I'm here to share some information about the customer-facing address in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

At this time, QBO doesn't have the option to remove or leave the customer-facing address as blank. However, if you're sending an invoice to customers, you can remove your address by unchecking it on the template as a workaround.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then pick Custom Form Styles under Your Company column.
2. Select the Edit option on the template you're using under Action column.
3. Click the Content tab, and hit the pencil icon of the Header.
4. Remove the checkmark on the Street Address, then Done.
