Installation Error

My 2 computers weren't syncing together with the program. After research told me to install it onto the same network in order to have both computers work simultaneously I had uninstalled my QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2019 program off my computer. Now, I'm trying to reinstall the program back on my computer, but I keep getting error messages saying I don't have enough memory. But, according to my system, I have 4.91 GB of usable memory.

Re: Installation Error

Hello there, Michelle101.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's my goal to help you reinstall your QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2019.

The error message you're getting when trying to reinstall your QuickBooks Desktop occurs if your computer doesn't meet the 1GB-available-memory requirement.

To fix this, you can edit your Framework.xml file to change the minimum requirements to zero. To do that, here are the steps:

  1. Press Windows logo + E on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
  2. Locate and right-click the %temp% folder.
  3. Choose Properties.
  4. Click Sharing.
  5. Click Share Add.
  6. Add the Windows User Profile you're currently logged in to and the corresponding QBDataServiceUserXX for your QuickBooks.
  7. Set the permission level of both users to Full Control.
  8. Click Share.

I've got this article handy for your reference: Resolve QuickBooks Desktop performance issues: Manage your computers.

However, if the error still persists after performing the troubleshooting steps mentioned above, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Support to further check your account.

Please know that I got you covered if you have any other questions with QuickBooks. I'd be pleased to help.
