Installing Quickbooks Pro 2016 on a new office computer, not accepting product# or License listed on my account

I am updating my office computer and trying to install a fresh copy of QuickBooks Pro 2016 on the new computer.  I have obtained the license and product #'s from my online Intuit account, but they are not recognized when asked for them during the install.

You may log in to your account through the CAMPS website to check the license and product information of your QuickBooks. For the detailed process/steps you may check this article and scroll-down to Find your license, product number, software status and user licensesUse the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS).

 

If the same thing happens, you may delete the damaged entitlementdatastore.ecml file. For additional reference, you may check this article: Delete damaged EntitlementDataStore.ecml file to resolve license and registration issues.

 

If you need further assistance, you may get in touch with our QuickBooks Desktop Support. For the support's contact information:

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose your QuickBooks Product.
  3. Select your QuickBooks version.
  4. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
  5. Click on the Get Phone Number button to see the support number.
