IQuickbooks transactions not downloading

I have been trying to download Credit card transaction as a QBO file and i have nearly 3-4 months missing in the CC register. However when i try to update it using Quickbooks Webconnect comes back with the message, "there are no new transaction, please try again tomorrow." it has failed for me for almost 2 months now. what gives? any suggestions?

I'm here to help fix the issue you're getting when importing transactions from your bank using QuickBooks Web Connect.

 

There are a few possible reasons why you're getting this message when importing Web Connect file. Some of these are:

 

  • Web Connect file doesn't contain any new transactions.
  • The transactions have already been imported.
  • Your Web Connect (.QBO) statement covers dates previously imported into the company file.
  • QuickBooks company file may be damaged.

 

We have several solutions to fix this issue. To start off, let's make sure the date range for the imported web connect file is correct and does not overlap.

 

Then, switch to the Register mode. Here's how:

 

1. Go to Edit menu at the top.

2. Select Preferences on the drop-down.

3. On the left pane, choose Checking then go to the Company Preferences tab.

4. In the Bank Feeds section, put a check mark on the Classic Mode (Register Mode).

5. Click OK once done.

 

After that, try to import your Web Connect file again.
