You can set up the industry type of your QuickBooks Online account to a specific manufacturing business.
If you have already set up your company file, you can follow these steps on how to change the industry type of your company. Here's how:
Go to the Gear icon.
Select Account and Settings.
On the left panel, choose the Company tab.
Click the Pencil icon under the Company type section
Select the industry type.
Hit Save and Done.
Just to give you a heads up, QuickBooks Online doesn't have the features for tracking the manufactured items. However, you can visit our QuickBooks Online App Center. You can check for a supported third-party application that can track manufactured items and integrates with QuickBooks.
