Hello @gourmetgrass,


You'll need to restore a backup copy of your company file so you can access it. Let me guide you on how.


To create a back up copy, here's how:


  1. Open your main QuickBooks company data.
  2. Go to File, then Back Up Company, and then Create Local Backup
  3. Select Local backup, hit Next and then choose a backup location.
  4. Tick OK then Finish.

After that, restore your back up to your home computer by following these steps:


  1. Go to File, then Open or Restore Company.
  2. Select the Restore a backup copy radio-button. Then, Next.
  3. Choose Local backup. Then, Next.
  4. Locate and open your file and follow the steps that will guide you through the rest.
