Welcome to the Community. Let me share a few details about how financial institutions often download transactions. Then, let's check your account and make sure your transactions are updated in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

For most financial institutions, QB Online automatically downloads cleared transactions every night. While American Express downloads data 2-3 times a week. You can also update your account manually between automatic downloads.

 

Here's how:

 

1.  Click Banking from the left menu.
2. On the Banking page, click Update now. It will refresh all of your connected bank and credit card accounts.

3. If you wish to update only one account, select all other banks to exclude them in the update. Then, click Update now.

4. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

 

This process might take a few moments. You'll be notified when the updates are completed.

 

That should fetch all available recent transactions in QuickBooks. Thus, keeping your account updated.
