It's possible that the data in QuickBooks Online (QBO) wasn't deleted that's why your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) files aren't migrated to QBO. Let me share with you the process and help you from there.
When migrating files from QBDT to QBO, your QB Online must be a blank account. This way, you can move your data successfully. In this case, you'll have to purge your QBO files first to delete the current data you have in your Online account.
