Having trouble opening my accountants copy. This happened once before and my other co worker was able to do it on his computer (he is out today). 


When I download the accountants copy and convert to a workable one, the transfer password is correct, it converts and doesn't let me go any further from there. It says the password is incorrect to open the company file. But it worked just fine on my co workers computer. 


Anyone run into this problem as well?

I'm here to assist so you can open the Accountant's copy.


Since your co-worker can open the Accountant's copy using the same password, it's possible that you have a different file or one that is damaged. To isolate the issue, you can take a copy of that file and open it on your computer.


If you are opening the file from a portable drive (USB or thumb drive), you can try copying the file locally. Then, open it in your QuickBooks Desktop for Accountant.


Alternatively, you can disable your antivirus. To do this I suggest consulting your anti-virus Help documentation for directions or, contacting an IT professional before performing changes to your anti-virus program/s.
