PayPal accounts not syncing. I have 2 paypal accounts, 1 last updated 61 days ago, and the other one last updated 28 days ago. Any fixes?

PayPal accounts not syncing. I have 2 paypal accounts, 1 last updated 61 days ago, and the other one last updated 28 days ago. Any fixes?

Let me provide some insights about syncing PayPal account in QuickBooks Online, @acctg2.

 

There are a few possible reasons why PayPal is not syncing to QuickBooks Online:

  • Your bank might have enabled a new security feature that requires you to take action.
  • The bank is under maintenance.

 Let's make sure you can log in to your bank's website. Then, do the manual update by following these steps:

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. Select your PayPal account, and click the Update button.

 

Once updated, check if there are new transactions added. If you get an error, you can try searching for the specific error message in the search field located at the top of the page.

 

Also, you can manually download the bank transactions using the Web Connect feature by following the steps in this article:  How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.
