Pop-up when logging in to QB: "Quickbooks Payments-Page can't be displayed. Something is not right. Please close the window and try again later."

just started. Every time our computers start ( we have a 5 station working), we get a message - Pop-up when logging in to QB: "Quickbooks Payments-Page can't be displayed. Something is not right. Please close the window and try again later."

Anybody have a suggestion. It doesnt lock up the computer, but it's a pain

First make sure one of the workstations does not have QBs still running in the background.  Hopefully it's just one of the stations is hanging the file.

 

Reboot the machine that hosts the company file and then try logging in with just that machine.  If that fixes it, add the other workstations one at a time and check again.

 

If that doesn't fix it, try rebuilding the data file (after making a backup).  Let us know what errors, if any, are found in the rebuild.

I appreciate the steps you've taken to get rid of the error message. Can you please confirm if you're having trouble accessing the Payment feature in QuickBooks? The problem might be due to network or system error. All Intuit web-based products and services are created for use and compatibility with Internet Explorer and as a result, any problems that occur must be identified in Internet Explorer.
