Hello and welcome to the Community, info61.
It would be my pleasure to help you figure out this strange behavior in QuickBooks Online.
For now, we haven't received any reports from other users about the Payroll Summary report printing problem. What we can do is perform some basic troubleshooting to isolate the issue.
Let's start by updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or repairing the installation. The article I'm adding below will show you the steps on how you can do it:
If the problem continues and you're using Google Chrome, please review the settings of the browser. There's an option on the browser that will cause Print Preview to appear completely blank, or do nothing at all.
You can follow the steps outlined in this article (scroll-down to Problem: I can't preview my forms in Chrome):
Please get in touch with me here if you need additional assistance with QuickBooks. I'll be eyeing out on your response.
Hello there, cspc720.
Thanks for joining this thread. Allow me to help ensure you're able to print the Payroll Summary report successfully in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Have you tried to process the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleague AlcaeusF? If the issue still persists, let's try to print the report by opening your browser in incognito/private mode. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data files to lead a webpage.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:
If it works fine with the private browser, I suggest clearing your browser's cache to start fresh. The next time you log in to QuickBooks Online, your browser will download fresh copies of everything you see on each page. Any cache-related issues should be cleared up.
You may also try to save the report first as a PDF file before printing it.
If that doesn't work, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have additional tools to pull up your account and investigate this further.
Here's how you can contact our phone support:

Still having this issue and your excel fix is crappy since you have to reformat the spreadsheet to a readable, usable spreadsheet. This should be more user friendly and able to import to accounting programs like the Desktop version.
