Good day, h-c.

 

An existing employee might already have the SSN that you're typing in. Let's go to the list of employees and check if the employee already exists in your account. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Workers menu and select Employee.
  2. Click the drop-down list for Active Employees and select All Employees.
  3. Double-check if the employee already exists. If you can see it, click on the employee name to open its profile.
  4. You can make the employee active again or delete it if you want to create a new one. 

Follow the steps in this article on how to do it: Delete or terminate an employee.

 

Once deleted, you can proceed to setting up the new employee profile. Let me know if you need anything else.
