Qb 2019 Desktop Pro Plus

We run 2 different companies on QB.  One of our companies is running fine.  The other, which is hardly used, has been backdated to 2009.

How do I get my old records?

Hello, WEC.

 

You might have restored the wrong backup copy of this company. You can go back to your old QuickBooks where the 2019 transactions are created then create a backup copy. Restore the new backup copy into your QuickBooks 2019 and check if the transactions are showing.

No, this company file is used several times a month.

After installing 2019, everything went back to 2009.

I have a lot of data since then :)

I did have to open the old QB and create a file to restore to the new QB.

Everything is working fine now.

I have a backup copy, but a new lap top, how do I install the program without a disc

Hello tscott1118,

 

I can help you download and install QuickBooks without a disc. You can definitely download the installer from our website. 

 

Please follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to this page: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products.
  2. Select your product and version.
  3. Select Download.

To install the software:

  1. Select the QuickBooks executable file installation.
  2. Select Yes to All
  3. Select Next.
  4. Agree to the Software License Agreement, then select Next.
  5. Enter your License and Product numbers, then select Next.
  6. Continue until you've reached the select Install window.
  7. Select Open QuickBooks to get started!

Can't log into QB. Says our subscription has expired. Have gotten as far as Quickbooks Account and find it is correct and current.

Hi @RodBacon,

 

Let's get your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company fixed right up, so you can log back into it. 

 

The last part you mentioned seemed like already logged in to CAMPs. I'll provide additional steps you can take:

 

  1. Sign in to CAMPs as an admin user.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop from your products and services.
  3. Tap Edit on the Billing Information section.
  4. Update your payment information, then hit Save and Close.

At this point, open your QuickBooks Desktop. Proceed to the Help menu, then hover over Manage My License. Choose Sync License Data Online.

 

If the issue persists, open this article: Fix a subscription error in QuickBooks Desktop. Scroll down to Solution 2 and go from there.
