Join nowI am upgrading my QB Accountant Desktop premier from 2010 to 2021. Here are the steps I have to go through for the upgrade: 1) Backup each company file from QB 2010 to a local drive; 2) Restore each backup file to QB 2021 one by one. Question: Is there a way to do a bulk upgrade instead of one company file at a time? I have quite a bit of clients. Converting one by one is not very efficient, and does not seem to make sense. I tried to chat with Customer Support, and no better solution offered. Can someone help? Thanks.
Let me explain how conversion works, Sumluck.
I know how convenient it is to upgrade them all at once. You're unable to do it, though. You'll have to convert each file one at a time.

Thank you for your reply. You confirmed that the upgrade process is manual unfortunately. I really hope QB's product engineering team will work on a solution for this. I can't imagine updating each client company file one at a time every time I do a software upgrade.
