QB for Mac 2019 compatibility

Does anyone know whether QB for Mac Desktop 2019 is a 64 bit program or a 32 bit program?

I’m currently running macOS Sierra v10.12.6 and I’m having issues with my computer; I think it might be due to the 32 bit programs that I'm still running.

I’m considering upgrading to High Sierra or Mojave to see if that resolves the issues, but I don’t want to spend money on a QB for Mac 2019 upgrade if it won’t be compatible.

Re: QB for Mac 2019 compatibility

Glad to have you here in the Community, @sbp-ab

Mac OS X v10.12 (Sierra) is one of the minimum system requirements when using the Mac 2019 version.

You can check out the other requirements below:

  • Supported by Mac OS X v10.14 (Mojave), 10.13 (High Sierra)
  • Intel Processor - Core 2 Duo or higher
  • 2 GB RAM (4 GB RAM recommended)
  • Multi - user Server - Intel Core 2 Duo or higher processor to run server
  • 250 MB of available disk space
  • CD/DVD drive or Internet connection for downloaded installation
  • Product registration required

May I ask for your specific issue with your computer? This will help me to provide accurate resolution to your concern.

I'd suggest visiting this article that tackles integration/compatibility requirements for QuickBooks for Mac 2019. If you're getting a Crash Catcher Error while using the program, you can perform several solutions to fix it through this article: Resolve Crash Catcher Error

Keep me posted if you have any other concerns. I'd be glad to help.

Yes, QB Mac has been 64bit for several year versions now.
