QB Pro 2019 update

I was finally able to get QB to reload after several issues such as 1712 error & such. Now I did get it to reload but the message I get now is: "Hang on while Windows Reports the problem to Microsoft." The next message comes up; "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available."

Any solutions to this

QB Pro 2019 update

Good to hear that you're able to reload QuickBooks after the error message 1712. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get the software installation working, Gary191.

This error happens in almost all versions of the Windows operating system, and it can happen with any app like QuickBooks you’re trying to run. The problem lies within Windows itself when certain applications are made for older versions of Windows and aren’t fully compatible with newer releases.

Before performing any steps, let's make sure you meet the system requirements for QuickBooks 2019. You can refer to this article for more details: System requirements for QuickBooks 2019 and Enterprise Solutions 19.0.

Then, follow the steps in this Microsoft article on how to resolve issues that block the software from being installed: Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed. If you are not comfortable performing the steps provided, please contact an IT professional.

Once done, try opening QuickBooks on your computer. If you can't access the software, just follow the detailed steps in this article to troubleshoot the problem: What to do if you can't open QuickBooks Desktop.

Fill me in if you need a hand with running the software or anything else QuickBooks related. I'm always here to help.
