Join nowOur client wishes to convert from QBO back to QBD. it appears since Intuit no longer supports Internet Explorer, that there is no way to move back to QBD to include transactions, and only lists are allowed to export. IE 11 is the only option listed to convert the data file and now when you login using IE it will not show any clients to access and convert. Anyone know if a utility or process that can bring the QBO files back to QB Desktop?

Hey there, @MRoth.
We're aware of an issue in which your Client Selection drop-down doesn't display when using Internet Explorer and are currently working to resolve it. In the meantime, you can use the steps below to access a specific client.
That's it! You'll be able to follow the normal export procedure to get their data into QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm determined to be your number one resource fo QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Have a good one.
link to 'normal export procedure' doesn't work. all articles are for conversion TO QBO not FROM QBO.
Hi @kiarasings1,
I'm here to clear things up for you about the QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) conversion process.
As stated by my peer @Michael K above, this option is already unavailable since Microsoft no longer supports Internet Explorer, which is the exclusive browser used for this process.
You can follow the suggestion of @Fiat Lux - ASIA above, or you can also view this page: QuickBooks Apps Store. Pick a third-party app that can assist you with the conversion process.
Leave a comment below if you have other questions for me. I'll be sure to get back to you.
