Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017 transfer to Desktop for Mac 2022

You can try to copy the file for QBD Mac and restore it on your Mac. If you run into errors, consider installing a trial license for QBD 2019 on both your machines to convert files and upgrade them on your Mac.

Once done, you can now convert your data. I’m glad to show you the steps.

1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities.
2. Select Copy Company File for QuickBooks Mac. You’ll see a message that says, "It looks like ‘QuickBooks for Windows’ might be a better fit for your company," make sure to check what data isn’t converted from Windows.
   
3. Press Yes to continue.
   
4. Go to the folder you want to save the file in.
5. Name the file, and click Save.
6. Move the file to your Mac by using any storage device such as a USB flash drive, etc.

After, you’ll want to restore the MAC.qbb backup on your Mac. Here’s how:

1. Update QuickBooks Desktop for Mac to the latest release, then close.
2. Copy the backup to the Documents folder on your Mac, then reopen your account.
3. Go to the File menu, then select Open Company.
4. Select the MAC.qbb file, then press Open.
5. Click OK when asked if you want to restore a QuickBooks for Windows file.
6. Enter a name, and then select Save.

Thanks for your help.  Unfortunately, after going through all of that to download the Trial version you linked to, the option for "Copy Company File for QuickBooks Mac" does not appear when I go to Utilities.  I can copy the file for QB Online, or Move QB to another computer, but not make a file for Mac.  Please tell me how to proceed.
