We've been alerted about this issue in the desktop app, sumutek.

 

Our engineers are still gathering more details about this error to come up with an immediate fix. We've identified five solutions that can help you get past the error for now.

 

Here are the steps:

  1. Under the QuickBooks menu, click Sign Out.
  2. If that menu item is disabled or doesn’t work, click the Help menu, and then choose Reset App Data.
  3. Open the Keychain Access application (in the Utilities folder). On the left side, click Passwords.
  4. In the upper right search field, type Intuit ID. Delete any password that starts with Intuit ID.
  5. If that doesn’t work, restart your computer and then double check your network connection by going to apple.com (for Mac users) in a web browser.

If you're still getting the same error, I'd suggest switching to a supported browser to access QuickBooks Online instead of the Desktop app.

 

While we're working on this, it would be best to get in touch with our Customer Care Team. They can add you to the list of affected users so you'll receive an update once this issue is resolved. We will send the updates on your email address associated with your Intuit account.

The Keychain Access is only available for Mac computers. Since you're using Windows, skip that step and proceed to step 5.

Our engineers are still gathering details for their investigation. Please contact Customer Care Support to get you added to the list of affected users.

  1. Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select your QuickBooks version.
  3. Click Search for something else, and then type question in the field.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Click Get Phone Number.

In the meantime, you'll want to access your account using a supported web-browser.
