QuickBooks Pro Plus 2018 Upgrade to 2019

Let me walk you through on how to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop to a newer version. Here's how:

1. Click this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products.
2. Select the drop-down arrow to choose the correct Country, Product, and Version of your QuickBooks.
3. Select Search.
4. Click the Download button.

I need to up grade from quickbooks 2018 pro to quickbooks 2019 desk top to be compatible with my accountant.  What do I need to do?

Let me help upgrade your QuickBooks so you can work with an accountant, Antiqueseeker.

Since you want to use QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2019, your accountant needs to have the QuickBooks Desktop Pro Accountant Edition 2019 or 2020.

Once you're ready to upgrade, here are the steps you can follow:

1. When you’re ready to start, select Upgrade Now.
2. Select the Keep old version on my computer checkbox if you also want to keep your current version of QuickBooks. Then select Let’s go. QuickBooks downloads, installs, and registers the new version for you. It also creates an updated version of your company files.
3. When the upgrades finished, select Open QuickBooks.

If your accountant is using QBD 2020 Accountant edition, you should purchase and upgrade your license to QBD 2020.
