Quicken 2016 converted to QB Self-Employed

I currently am using Quicken 2016 for Home & Business, but have recently subscribed to QB Self-Employed.  My question is how do I import my existing quicken data into QB Self-Employed?  Thank you!

Let me welcome you to the Online Community, brown3986.

The option to convert Quicken data directly to QuickBooks Self-Employed is unavailable at this time. You can either import transactions using a .CSV file or connect the bank directly to your QBSE company.

To transfer the data:

  1. In your QBSE company, go to the Gear icon and choose the Imports menu.
  2. On the Import transactions page, choose the account type where you want the data to be posted.
  3. Under the Action column, select Import older transactions
  4. In the Import transactions window, follow the instructions on how to bring the data to QBSE.
  5. Once done, click on Import.

Here's an article with detailed information on how to export and download bank data:

If you want to use the Online banking feature, the steps to connect the account can be done easily. Here's how:

  1. Go back to the Gear icon and select the Bank accounts menu.
  2. Click on the Connect another account link.
  3. Enter the name or the URL of the financial institution in the field box.
  4. Type in the login credentials you use at your bank's website.
  5. Choose the Connect tab.

In regard to your invoices, you'll have to manually enter them. For more information on how QBSE can help manage your business, click on this link and select the topic you want to view.

This should point you in the right direction. Let me know the outcome after following these steps. I’ll be right here to assist further.
