Randomly today, QBO stopped resizing the window (Windows 10, both from the app and through Edge) when I split the screen.

Now I can't look at any register and see all of it unless I have the QBO screen take up the whole computer screen. I've cleared cache, signed out, and reset app data. My screen resolution is 2560 x 1440, just like always.

I appreciate you for performing some troubleshooting steps to resolve the resizing of your QuickBooks screen, PVOLLC.

Your browser's zoom settings can be easily activated without you getting notified. Since you've already set up your screen resolution, I'd also recommend checking your Dots-per-inch (DPI). Then update it to "Normal" or 100%.

  1. Right-click any blank spot on the desktop.
  2. Choose Screen Resolution.
  3. Select Make text and other items larger or smaller.
  4. Make sure the DPI is set to Smaller - 100%.

In case you're still unable to resize your QuickBooks window after changing your DPI settings, you can uninstall and reinstall the app. Kindly refer to this article for the detailed steps: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.

DPI is 100%

Uninstall/reinstall didn't help; problem is in both desktop and online.

Please see attached picture.

Thanks.
