Can i get a help regarding exporting data from quickbooks online to desktop .

I can help guide you through the whole process of exporting data from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

 

As an initial step, you'll need to set up the security settings and make sure you're running QuickBooks as the administrator.

 

Then, you can export your QBO data. Below are the steps on how to do this:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Export Data.
  2. Enter your reason for exporting and select Continue.
  3. In the Moving to QuickBooks Desktop section, select Learn more.
  4. In the Download company data section, select Learn more.
  5. Select Get started.
  6. Click Install ActiveX Control Now and follow the steps to install ActiveX.
  7. When it's finished, select Continue.
  8. Select the data you want to export and then select Continue.
  9. Review the limitations and select Continue.
  10. Enter your contact info and then Continue.

I did that and then I received the email saying:

Congratulations! Your QuickBooks Online Advanced data for BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER AND PRESCHOOL, INC. is ready to be downloaded.

  1. Please go to https://qbo.intuit.com/ and log onto BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER AND PRESCHOOL, INC..
  2. Click the task or to do item called "Download the company file created on 08/05/2020".
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

But there is nothing in my tasks and I don't see to do either?

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let's try to do a few basic troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue. 

 

Clearing your browser's history will allow QuickBooks to load as a fresh new page to remove any glitches that may be occurring in the product. Here's how to in Google Chrome: 

 

  1. Go to the Three Vertical Dots in the top right-hand corner. 
  2. Select History and then History again. 
  3. Press Clear Browsing Data
  4. In the "Time Range" section, pick All Time
  5. Tap Clear Data

 

Afterward, log back into your QuickBooks Online account and check your tasks again.
