This thread makes it looks like it was an adjustment Intuit made to push sales. The computer/software environment that I have it installed on (and apparently others above) hasn't changed for several years and it only now is having issues...and all we get is: "sorry need to upgrade"

The error 3371 has been resolved, tb8501.


Unsupported QuickBooks versions like 2013 and 2014 will most likely encounter errors. This is because by the time they were discontinued, Intuit also stopped releasing updates for the services. Release updates include added security to your account, new features for the add-on services, and many more.


But this doesn't mean that you can't use these versions anymore. You can still use them, however if you encounter issues, the troubleshooting steps may or may not work. When this happens, you can give us a call and we'll give you options to fix the error.

When you open your QuickBooks company file again, follow the prompts to re-register your software. After doing so, we recommend that you close QuickBooks, reboot your computer, and then reopen QuickBooks to verify that the error message is gone.
