Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

Thanks for visiting our forum, @DecaturInvestor,

I want to ensure you're on top with managing your online banking accounts and your bank transactions.

Before anything else, may I know if you're getting any error messages when trying to connect your account? This will help me check for ongoing investigations and other reported issues related to Home Depot.

In the meantime, if you're unable to connect to your bank’s website, try updating your bank. Here's how:

  1. From navigation panel, choose Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, hit Update.
  3. If you still can’t connect, please wait 2 or 3 hours and try again.

If updating the account doesn't work, try refreshing your bank connection in QuickBooks. Follow the steps below if you recently changed your bank login:

  1. Tap the Banking menu and select the blue tile for the bank account.
  2. Click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Press Edit sign-in info
  4. Update all necessary information.

If this is your first time connecting your account, use these steps:

  1. Click the Banking menu.
  2. Tap on the Add Account button.
  3. Locate your bank and click to select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed in the window.
  5. Sign in using your bank login credentials.

To complete your work temporarily, you can upload your bank transactions manually from your financial institution's website. I've attached here an article to guide you with the process: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions?

That's got it. Please update me once you've tried the steps. I'll be on a lookout for your response. Have a good one!

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

I did all that. Disconnected, reconnected and I'm getting this error:

"The The Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card site has a note for you.

Go to your bank site to respond, then return here to connect. (108)"

When I go to Home Depot there is no note for me. Home Depot verified they do not have a note for me.

PLEASE NOTE: I have no problems signing into Home Depot. AND I contacted QB through messaging system and they said try a different browser, which didn't sound right, I did that and it still didn't work.

I still haven't heard from them as of yet. I tried to message and they said I had a case number and would get back with me, but haven't. I guess it's not a system wide problem, but the first person I spoke with said they had multiple complaints.

Thanks for joining the conversation, @GreenerHomes,

I understand where you're coming from. Let me share an update about this ongoing issue in QuickBooks Online.

Our engineers are aware of this, and they're currently investigating this particular problem with Home Depot accounts not connecting to online banking. For now, I'd recommend trying the steps provided by my colleague and giving our Quickbooks Online Support Team a quick call.

  1. Click the (?) Help menu at the top right section of your QBO Dashboard.
  2. Tap the Contact us button.

Please update me on how the call goes. I want to ensure you're taken care of. Have a great day!

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a connectivity issue with Quickbooks.

I followed the instructions. Contacted support regarding the INV-32308 they said it was fixed on June 13, 2019. Suggested I sync about 5 times in a row and it looks like it is now fixed. Thought I'd mention for others that are still having issues as of June 20, 2019.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

Thank you for adding a post, @essiev.

Yes, the INV-32308 was already closed and resolved by our product developers. However, I've checked that there is a new investigation (INV-28864) reported by other users affected getting an Error 324 with Home Depot Commercial Credit Card (Customer unable to connect Home Depot Commercial Revolving Credit Card and download transactions). Our engineers are also currently working for an immediate resolution of the issue.

In case you'll be getting this error and to ensure you can complete your work, I recommend clicking on the Fix It link that is displayed after the error message and following the steps to select your updated account with your bank.

In addition, for your future reference about fixing banking errors in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you may check these articles:

Stay posted if you have any other banking concerns, I'm just a post a way to help you. Wishing you the best!

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

@Angelyn_T I never received a fix for INV-32308 so how is that closed? This is becoming quite confusing on Quickbooks Online end.

PLEASE do not send me instructions on how to contact again as I have been using the system for some time and obviously know how. I'm still getting error code 108

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

Hello, @DecaturInvestor.

Just to confirm that the investigation was already closed. If you're still getting the error code 108, you have to log into your Financial Institution (FI) or bank's website and act on the notification from there.

This error usually means that there is/are a notification/s on your FI's website that requires action to be taken. These actions are usually acknowledging items such as new Terms of Services, confirm the email address on file, a promotion, or an announcement. The announcements can appear immediately upon login or could be buried in a message center. If you don't see your notifications, you may need to disable your pop-up blocker.

Once verified that all messages are dismissed at your FI website, navigate back to the Banking page in QuickBooks and click on Update.

Feel free to drop a post if you have any other questions about the banking error 108. I'd be glad to help you.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

If you had read my early post you would have seen that

1. I have spoken to Home Depot and there are no messages.

2. There no pop ups

3. I have cleared my cache

4. I have removed and tried to set up the account

Ya'll never called or emailed me when you closed INV-32308.

Here is what is concerning is that you are the fifth person that's answered with a different answer. It's like when someone answered a question and and gives out incorrect information then someone new comes in and starts all over again. So hopefully, you can see how frustrating that is especially when you We are laser focused on our customers. NOT, Dedicated to exceptional results. NOT

In your behalf, I signed up to our callback process so someone from our QuickBooks support will call you and get things straightened out.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

@DecaturInvestor  after my post the same issue reappeared. I am still having the issue this morning.

So I logged into the Home Depot Revolving Commercial Credit account, it asked me to update my email address. I did, BUT it did not accept the change (last time it didn't say it didn't accept the change-I've done this part several times over the last month+/-). Frustrated I called the HDRCC Customer Support and it turns out it is a known issue on Home Depot's side, they are working on it but have no ETA. The only option is to manually download transactions and that will be a pain too as you can't select date periods for the download, its by month.

Maybe this is the same type of issue you and others are having and not really a QB issue as HD customer service said that my issue would definitely stop the syncing.

FYI a WORK AROUND: as suggested by a QB rep try updating several times...and it does work, just worked again.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a connectivity issue with Quickbooks.

STILL NOT WORKING! This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Customer service is non responsive. You've called and promised someone would call me back 5 times and they've called back 1 out 5. Not a good batting average. I've tried everything and have resorted to old skool of downloading excel file and uploading. At lease call and say we know this is affecting just a few of our clients, but we don't care because it's not large enough for us to really do anything about it. We won't offer you anything for your inconvenience, because, well, where are you going to go. No, we, Intuit Quickbooks, won't call you back when we say we will and no we, Intuit Quickbooks, can't find out what's wrong and try to make it right, but we will increase your monthly charge to you during this time. After months, and for pete's sake, do not send me any of the suggestions you've sent multiple times that do not work, I'm still getting: The The Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card site has a note for you. Go to your bank site to respond, then return here to connect. (108) AND NO THERE IS NO NOT ON HOME DEPOT, BUT YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU EVEN CALLED THEM TO VERIFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

Hi @DecaturInvestor,

I appreciate you for performing some troubleshooting steps to connect your Home Depot with QuickBooks.

We opened a new investigation since some customers have reported that the issue still persists (INV-32613). It would be best to get back in contact with our Technical Support Team. I know you've already contacted them. However, they can add your account to the new investigation to keep you updated.

I'll also pass along your feedback about your experience with our Callback team to our management group. This way, they can escalate and discuss how to improve our service performance.

In the meantime, you can continue importing your bank transactions manually as mentioned by one of my colleague @Jen_D.

Thanks for your patience and understanding @DecaturInvestor while we look into this.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a conn...

@MaryLandT and @Jen_D Let me make sure I understand your command. @quickbook's engineers haven't found the problem as of yet, correct? So it is incumbent upon me, the customer, to call back and and for the 4th of 5th submit "get back in contact with your Technical Support Team" the team in which I last called had me on the phone for 55 minutes, only to tell what you've just told me. Is that correct? In addition, yet again, you'll pass along my feedback about my experience with your Callback team to your management group. This way, they can escalate and discuss how to improve our service performance. So my take it away is, I'll need to spend my time and effort to do what you won't do. Correct? In the meantime, you can continue importing your bank transactions manually engineering team have open another investigation (INV-32613) and is already escalated. It would be best to get back in contact with our Technical Support Team. I know you've already contacted them. However, they can add your account to the new investigation to keep you updated.

Re: Home Depot no longer connecting to Quickbooks. I spoke with them and they say there is a connectivity issue with Quickbooks.

I've been having this same issue for over a month-- The error message I am getting is the same as the other people here "The The Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card site has a note for you. Go to your bank site to respond, then return here to connect. (108)" There is no note in my Home Depot back office. I've spoken with Home Depot several times, they have no note for me. I've wasted so many hours trying to problem solve this. This is a huge issue for businesses who have hundreds of transactions through Home Depot every month. QBO, you need to fix this ASAP. This is not workable.

Thanks for joining this thread, @kellyrichins.

We received reports that some users are unable to use online banking because of error 108. Our product engineers are working on getting it functioning back to normal as soon as possible.

In addition, they will set an update that will be sent through email on Tue Jul 23 12:00:00 GMT 2019. To keep you in the loop for the resolution status, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care Team.

They have to collect personal information to add you to the list of affected users. You’ll receive an email once there’s progress about the investigation.

The most up to date contact details for support can be found by going to the Help menu of your company. Let me walk you through the steps.

  1. In the upper right-hand corner, choose the Help icon.
  2. Scroll down and click the Contact Us menu.
  3. Enter contact support in the field box and hit the Let’s talk tab.
  4. Select Start Messaging or Get a callback.
  5. Make sure to provide the investigation number for easy tracking: INV-32613.

In the meantime, refresh the connection of your Home Depot account by performing a manual update. Here’s how:

  1. On the left panel, select Banking and pick the Banking menu.
  2. In the Bank and Credit Cards window, choose your Home Depot account and then click the Update menu.

I appreciate your patience while we're working on this. Reach out to me if you have concerns or questions. I’ll jump right back in to help you. Have a good one.

Thanks just checking in from 2 weeks ago and from the original June post to say it's still not working.
