I am getting error 324

Hi there, OIHStest2.

Welcome to to the Community. I can provide some clarification for why you're receiving a 324 with your bank.


Banking Error 324 means QuickBooks is unable to locate your account on your Financial Institution (FI) website. 


These may be caused by the following:

  • Your Financial Institution may have reclassified the account or moved it to a new server.
  • Your Financial Institution may have issued a new account number or credit card.
  • Your account nickname may have changed.
  • The bank or credit card account may have closed.

To get this sorted out, you can try to manually update your account. 

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking then Banking.
  2. Click the Update button in the upper right corner.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and then click Continue Update.
