Quickbooks 2019 installation error 311

Can anyone help me with installation error 311 when upgrading to Quick books 2019? I have not been able to find any reference to error number 311.

Let's get of the Error 311 so you can successfully install your QuickBooks 2019.


In QuickBooks, there is a tool that is designed to automatically diagnose and fix installation errors. Let's start by downloading the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This hub contains the different tools used to fix common issues within the software.

 

Below are the instructions on how to do it:

 

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  6. Once the  QuickBooks Tool Hub is open, select Installation Issues.
  7. Click and run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool.

To ensure the components are properly updated, please restart the computer after running the tool.

Try running the company file on a new(er) PC? Does the error occur on all PC's? You can also a. Un-Install (or Repair) your QB installation files [[Control Panel >> Programs & Features] or perform a Windows Search for: Add or Remove Programs] b. check your QB.EXE Compatibility Settings c. rename a .ND file (in your Company Files Folder) from [filename].ND to [filename].ND.OLD d. Upgrade to Windows 7 or 10
