Restoring a 2010 Mac Quickbooks company backup to my 2019 Mac Desktop quickbooks

I recently installed Quickbooks 2019 for Mac Desktop version. I have been using an older 2010 version for Mac and want to move to company records to my 2019 Quickbooks. I backed up the company onto a flash drive but have been unable to install it into my more current Quickbooks. Please help! Thank you.

Restoring a 2010 Mac Quickbooks company backup to my 2019 Mac Desktop quickbooks

I am not sure you are able to jump directly from QBD 2010 to 2019. Call and ask Intuit Data Service to upgrade your company file. Otherwise, you have to purchase a 3rd party service.
